Cruise-In Photos August 30

"Thank You Hardee's."
This would be another hot day for the Hardee's Cruise-In and again with unsettled weather. But, at least it stayed dry at Hardee's.
Again, the cruisers were slow arriving, as they had been at the Stray Cats Show in Littleton, NC. But, when they started coming in, they came in numbers and the lot was loaded by 6:30 PM.
This would be a "Blowout Night" with over 150 vehicles and over 60 bikes cruisin the scene at Hardee's on this summer's night.
We had groups coming in from Suffolk, NC, and the Tidewater area. Hal Hartel, president of the VA Peninsular Car Club Council, and his wife, Beth, came up with members from several car clubs in the Newport
News, Yorktown, and Norfolk area. Hal is one of the guys that fight for the rights of hobbyists each year when our legislators are in session. Check our the VPCCC web site for more info.

The "Pick of the Week" was the nice 1958 Chevy Impala that belongs to Billy Hudnall of Newport News, VA.
It looks factory fresh & sounds sweet.

The "Pick of the Week" for the bike was the 2007 Yamaha Venture 1500 belonging to Joe Hios of Chesterfield, VA.
We certainly thank Hardee's on behalf of all the Guys and Gals that cruise in every Saturday Night. We couldn't have this much fun anywhere else. We all Love You for hosting the Cruise-In every year.
We also appreciate all you do to help our commuity, by sponsoring events for Special Olympics and MDA. The plaque we presented is our way of saying "Special Thanks."
Every week we see more and more antique vehicles and new customs attend the cruise-in.
See if your vehicle is one of them? If not, Come on down and join us soon! Just click on the photo for better viewing.
